Babbage Interview to Hire Process
Initial Conversation which includes the discussion of:
Experience/Skills/Resume
Transparency and Honesty - Important because what we discuss will be used to negotiate with our clients on your behalf moving forward.
Financial and Career Goals
Employment Type (Contract, Contract-To-Hire or Direct Hire).
Right to Represent (RTR)
This will be filled out before moving forward and states that you are working solely through Babbage with a particular client for 90 days.
Babbage Face-to-Face Interview
An interview via MS Teams video with others from the Babbage team will be scheduled. We schedule this as a next step to establish a relationship with our candidates and often times, we will assess your technical skills.
Client Resume Submittal and Interview
Babbage coordinates between you and the client. We will work with you each step of the way throughout that interview process and will do our very best to prepare you for the interview.
Offer
We will work with you and our client to ensure that everything is negotiated and that you feel comfortable with the details of your new role.
Offer Acceptance
You will work with Babbage directly to accept your offer and Babbage will communicate with the client.
Onboarding
If the offered position is a contract or contract-to-hire role, our Operations Manager will reach out to you with onboarding paperwork to be filled out. If the offered position is a direct hire role, we will coordinate between you and the client regarding any onboarding paperwork and/or first day start details.
Continued Communication
If you are directly hired by our client β We want to hear how itβs going! We will check in now and then but feel free to reach out to us as well. If you are hired on a contract or contract-to-hire role, while most of the communication is with the client in which you are working, Babbage will be in constant communication with you. Feel free to reach out to Babbage as well with any questions or concerns that you may have during your assignment.
